The boys made it back from their trip to PA this afternoon. Ty isn't talking much about it right now & is pretty wired, needing time to get back into "life." So I hope in the next couple days he will go through the pictures with me & give me some details from his point of view. It looks like he really enjoyed visiting the Liberty Bell.
Some things Dave learned from being there for the study is that they have found a few similarities in almost all the boys they are studying: one is FLAT, FLAT Feet, deeper set eyes, an indention on their pinkies (which Tyler doesn't really have), & a tremor in their hand(s) when their arms are fully extended to reach for something (something we had never noticed... but is much more noticeable now that we know.) So they are learning a lot... but all the many things they find - a bunch of the boys will have it... but then a bunch won't. So that is why it is a hard one to figure out or really know if it is because of their syndrome or not! (Fun!)
But in all they felt it was a successful trip & had a good time together!! Dave said they promised to send us copies of all their reports so we can use them w/doctors & the schools (which will be wonderful) as we have never had anything like this just for Tyler!! So I look forward to reading the info. when it arrives!! Here are some of the pictures they took.
