This was a project we started during our 12 days of Christmas. But I didn't realize that with Christmas programs, ward party, company parties & quite a few other things - our time would be cut so short before Christmas - so we had to put this one 1/2 way done on a shelf till life settled down & Last night for FHE - we got them out after our Lesson, on how important we are, how Jesus & our Heavenly Father love each of us... for WHO WE ARE. Not for what others think of us or what we see or others see... so the mirror is to be a reminder that when we look in the mirror - who do we see?
Do we see ourselves as they see us? WE ARE important, WE ARE loved, it DOESN'T matter our size, shape, hair style, clothing.... we are loved & we are Children of God.
Here are their pictures (Brady & Madi are a bit torked at me... as I wouldn't let them begin yet as they needed a little assistance squeezing the bottles of paint - some were runny, some were a bit older, etc.)... at the end is a picture of their finished projects!!! Now, tomorrow when the paint is dry I will glue the hangers on them & put them in their rooms for them to have!!! THEY LOVED Doing this!! (But my kids LOVE being Crafty & working with "my" stuff.... so who could have ever dreamed to have 4 kids who LOVE doing crafty things.. just like their mom!)
