Madison is nominated as Citizen of the Quarter...

Madison was chosen as the Citizen of the Quarter in her class today!! It is always a secret thing till it happens (luckily I babysit for one of the school secretaries - so she called to let me know!) Here she is at her school assembly accepting her certificate & being recognized!!
They have changed the award this year & w/the certificate the PTO is sponsoring lunch for the Principal, their teacher & the students chosen from each classroom to eat lunch together each quarter (pd. for by PTO.)

This is the "big" award each quarter as 1 boy & 1 girl are chosen by their peers from each class & it can lead to the "Patriot of the Year" award at the end of the year (chosen by the teacher).

We are so proud of her!! She is caught "Being Good, Kind, or Respectful" everyday while at school & comes home with a prize (she loves picking out special gel pens, markers, etc to write with as her prize)... which then her name gets put on the school newsletter each month & placed in a drawing for a bigger prize. She loves doing extra things to help out in her classroom. Most of the time it is for cleaning up an area left a disaster when nobody else will help!! So we are proud she is willing to go the extra mile & be a good example in her class & at school!
WE LOVE YOU MADI!!!
