We are having fun....

Just thought I would take a minute to check in & say Hello! We are having a lot of fun taking a break! We have been spending a bit of time at the pools with the kids & enjoying the sun (that is the only way to enjoy it) as it has been 102 - 107 degrees here the whole time. We have been suprized at how hot it stays into the night (whew!) we will enjoy the colder weather when we get back! (We planned this trip back in December when we couldn't stand the cold & snow any longer!!) It has been a nice break.

We have spent some time with the Shelton family & can't wait to get home & post some pictures of Ken with Obama - Ken is with the secret service & takes rotations with the other secret service agents protecting & traveling with Obama on his campain. We have had a lot of fun looking through his pictures & places he has been & hearing some of his stories.

The kids are on year round school down here, but we spent father's day with them & had a nice BBQ & got caught up with them. Brooke (the oldest) showed us some of her DVD's as she was in a "news" group at school the past 2 years & was one of the Main actors/reporters on their "School news" w/doing the forcasts, announcements, & more. She has done a great job!
Last night for FHE we the Shelton's come here to the resort to go swimming & to have dinner with us. The kids all had a blast! It has been fun to catch up, since they moved away some time ago & we only see them a couple times a year & that is usually for just a short time. (I will add pics. when we get back.)

Tonight we are going to a magic show & that should be a great time. Then we plan to go see the outside fountains/light show. The older boys really want to go to the adventure dome, but I am not finding anywhere that it would be much fun for the 2 younger ones. So we might split up & take the 2 older ones to the adventure dome one day & then I can take the younger two to the Lied's children's discovery museum another day... we will see. The kids really just want to be swimming & playing at the splash park!! Dave is totaly content having 3 tv's in our condo with any & all games that a man could ever desire to watch!! :) Too funny!
